The Internship Program at Politeknik Caltex Riau is a compulsory
course in the sixth semester and one of the final requirements to
obtain a Bachelor of Applied Engineering degree. This program
aims to integrate theoretical and practical knowledge gained
during lectures with real-world work experience. This report
discusses the internship conducted at PLN Icon Plus, Yogyakarta
Service Unit, a company engaged in providing fiber optic-based
telecommunication services. During the internship, the author was
involved in various activities, mainly serving as a corporate
activation admin using iCRM Plus, a system designed to ensure
and monitor the customer service process from the initial request
to service activation. This system enables the activation process to
be more structured and well-documented. The author also
participated in administrative tasks such as document verification,
data entry, and internal coordination. In conclusion, this
internship provided in-depth insights into telecommunication
company operations, emphasizing a comprehensive understanding
of the corporate internet service activation process and the
importance of digital service management systems in supporting
work effectiveness.
