Abstract

Flour sieving systems that are still done manually certainly require a lot of time and energy, especially those carried out by partners in Tello village, Bangkinang sub-district. In one sieving process to produce 30 kg of flour, this partner takes 5 days with 3-8 workers involved. Therefore, the manufacture of this flour sieving machine is expected to facilitate work and speed up the flour sieving process with efficient time. The research method carried out is, starting from identification, data collection, conceptualizing, designing, machine manufacturing, trials and analysis. The design results obtained are the drive system using an AC motor ¼ pk, and the sieving system using a vibration system. This flour sieving machine has dimensions of 445 mm x 400mm x 530 mm, uses a 400mm diameter sieving screen and this sieving machine is capable of sieving 14 kg of flour in one sieving. This flour sifting machine is able to produce better sieve quality and is able to relieve MSME owners. This flour sieving machine has a frame dimension of 60 cm high x 70 cm wide, using a 1Hp Vibration Engine, the capacity of the flour sieving machine in sifting 5 kg of flour produces a capacity of 4 kg / minute, the use of electric power to sift 5kg of flour, requires an electric power of 0.004689 KwH, for the flour sieving process from coarse flour to be ready to be processed with a weight of 5kg beans mem
