Parking fees consist of parking fees on public roads which are part of public service fees and parking fees on public roads which are part of business services. The object of parking fees on public roads is the provision of parking services on public roads determined by the local government in accordance with statutory provisions. Realization of parking fees received by Pekanbaru City in the last two years has increased which has an impact on Regional Original Revenue (PAD) due to parking fees. is one of the elements of PAD. One of the supporters of increasing acceptance of parking fees in Pekanbaru City is Mayor Regulation Number 41 of 2022 concerning increasing parking fees. This study aims to determine the potential of receiving parking fees in increasing Pekanbaru City Local Revenue. This research was conducted at the Pekanbaru City Transportation Service which is located at Jl. Abdul Rahman Hamid, Tenayan Mayor's Office Complex, Building B9 Floor. I-II, Ex. Tuah Negeri, Kec. Tenayan Raya. This research uses mixed methods with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results of this study indicate that the calculated potential contribution of parking fees contributes 9.74% to Pekanbaru City's Original Revenue up to July 2023. The calculated potential contribution is greater than the PAD contribution in 2022 in table 1.3, which is equal to 0. 24%. However, contributions for 2022 come from PAD for a full year, while contributions for 2023 come from PAD until July 2023.
