Abstract

The beverage business is a very promising business
idea in Indonesia, considering that Indonesia is a
tropical country with hot weather, so people like to
drink ice. The food and beverage packaging industry
is one of the supporting factors for the Indonesian
economy. However, in the printing process it is still
done manually or it still requires human work in the
process. Using this Automatic plastic cup screen
printing machine will cut the time from the process of
laying the glass, printing to removing the glass
manually. This machine uses the working principle of
automatic screen printing. With this tool, the screen
printing process becomes more efficient. The process
of this automatic plastic glass screen printing machine
starts from placing the glass into the funnel until it is
full, then the machine will run at once from the process
of entering the glass, screen printing until the glass
comes out automatically. The automatic process on
this machine uses a DC motor, limit switch and
proximity sensor. From the test results, the speed of
the motor used is stable, the results of screen printing
using 2 different screen printing get good results and
data is obtained that for 1 hour this automatic plastic
cup screen printing machine is capable of producing
as many as 600 pcs with an average time for 1 cup
glass around 6 seconds
